Port Hedland Hit the New Record for Iron Ore Export

Last month Port Hedland, the largest iron ore export port in Australian, hit a new record for iron ore export. According to the data release, The total shipment from Port Hedland in March is 39.53 million tons, While the iron ore exports to China in March is 32.6 million tons,and the total shipment in February is 36.61 million tons. The highest iron ore (used for steel melting) export amount was 39.40 million tons in September 2015.

Port Hedland is the gateway for Pilbara, the world’s largest iron ore manufacturing center by using blast furnace coke. The company is responsible for loading large-scale iron ore goods.Their customers are mining giants, such as Roy Hill iron ore, FMG mining group and BHP Billiton which adopt high quality blast furnace.
